Anko Publishing Software, a respected international provider of robust, affordable, and truly enabling publishing management software (with clients such as as Kent State University Press, Edinburgh University Press, Royal Society of Chemistry, Bible Reading Fellowship, Dundurn - See here for a fuller list of our clients), is now offering publishers a rental-based service for its Anko Publishing Manager. This service will further increase the opportunity for all publishers to economically access and harness the best and most affordable publishing management software available
APM License Pricing
The Anko Publishing Manager is available as an initial five user starter pack and is currently €1.25 euro per user per day. This equates to €2,281 per annum.
Additional user licenses may be purchased at €342 euro per user per annum.

So for example a 10 user system would be charged at 1 x €2,281 + 5 x €342 = €3,991
DATA IMPORTING
For any initial data importing into APM we charge €400 for one day. The amount of time required to import the data really depends upon how well structured the data is and in what format. For example we would expect to take approx. one day to import basic well structured title information from Excel spreadsheets in an agreed format such as the APM import spreadsheet (see our download section).
Training Pricing
Training is optional but highly recommended if you really want to maximise the potential benefits of the software.
We offer video conference based training at €200 per person. The training is typically broken down into four two hour sessions where we walk through the software functionality based on functional areas of the system (see here for an overview).
We also offer an additonal four hour indepth training option for royalty adminstrators for €500. This session will show the administrators how APM handles royalty calculations and gives the user the confidence to generate royalty statements accurately and efficiently.

PRICING RATIONALE
At Anko we have always charged low prices for our software with a view that we want to level the playing field for smaller publishers. It is our belief that the smaller specialist publisher shoud run exactly the same software as their huge multi-million euro counter parts. Traditionally we have sold our software with a one off fee so that the publisher owned the software and there were no on-going license fees. Whilst this was fair it did mean that publishers were faced with an upfront cost that in this current economic climate is a big ask. So in a sweeping change we have now introduced an annual licensing fee structure to remove that initial financial barrier.
