Training
APM training is optional but highly recommended if you are going to maximise the benefits of the software especially since it touches on every area of your business.
We offer a two day on site training package which is broken into four half day sessions. Below is a basic breakdown of the course but we can tailor the training to your exact needs.
1st day (am) – half-day session for all users to provide a general overview of the Anko Publishing Manager, to include:
- Brief introduction to the relational nature and functionality
- Guide to various methods of navigation
- Explanation of features and functionality common to all modules
- Searching, reporting, messaging and working with sets.
1st day (pm) – half-day session for commissioning editors, to include:
- Creation of a title and management of royalties
- Introduction to the author/contributor module
- Production of advanced information sheets and other materials
- Creation and management of schedules.
2nd day (am) – half-day session for production and project editors, to include:
- Introduction to title module, with emphasis on specification and royalties
- Introduction to the production module, including core concepts and calculations, and supplier and author/contributor modules
- Overview of print markets and associated options
- Creation and management of schedules and associated tasks and costs.
2nd day (pm) – half-day session on sales and marketing, to include:
- Introduction to title module, with emphasis on location and usage of marketing
- Blurbs, images and other sales/marketing information
- Generation of advanced information sheets and other materials
- Location and viewing of schedules
- Introduction to the customer module.
